Thanks to everyone who came out to the open house this weekend, it was good meeting and talking to some new folks. Keep an eye on the website for future shows and opportunities to see my work. Also keep in mind that along with the current work in the gallery by Kate Silvio, there is a rotating selection of my work at the Re:View Contemporary Gallery Design Store in Midtown Detroit, open every weekend.

I thought I’d touch base again to initiate a dialogue about the exhibition Alternative Design: Beyond Functional Furniture we are planning to open September 11. I hope you are participating. We would like to received works between August 30 – Sept. 3, 2010 by appointment. We invite you to bring 6-8 works if available. If you are still planning to participate, please send biographical information, artist statement, 2-3 high resolution images for reproduction and ultimately a master list of objects with title, date, materials, price if for sale ($30 commission to museum), if not for sale, Insurance value and any narrative if applicable for labels.
